The secondary impact of unfettered illegals

I’ve mentioned this before–the problem of Third World diseases coming into our country.

In Georgia, around 200 faculty, staff, and students at a high school had to be tested for TB.  The disease vector was ‘an illegal Chinese student’ (please explain to me how someone walked from frickin’ China).  Apparently it’s a pretty rare strain too.

They keep trying to say that TB is treatable, and some forms are.  But there’s also some forms that are not–they are so antibiotic resistant that there’s nothing we’ve got that will kill that bug.

According to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 9,615 tuberculosis (TB) cases were reported in the United States in 2023.  This represents a significant increase from previous years:

It’s a 16% increase from the 8,320 cases reported in 2022.

It’s the highest number of TB cases reported since 2013.

The TB incidence rate increased to 2.9 cases per 100,000 persons in 2023, up from 2.5 per 100,000 in 2022.

Finally, 76% of cases occurred in non-US-born residents.

There’s no health screenings of illegals.  They’re just allowed to stroll in, get their EBT cards, and get on a plane to become some small municipality’s problem.

  1. And nobody is talking about the massive rise in the cost of housing. Add 10 million people needing low and middle income housing and (surprise, surprise) there is a shortage and costs skyrocket.

  2. Deport them all. That being said, this is fear porn. When the fake coof had a stranglehold on American schools, they tried forcing the testing. My wife is a nurse and is required to test for a myriad of things including TB because of “exposure”. It's about control. I say again it's about control.

  5. In a sane world the criminal illegals would be deported…and the criminals in power who allow them in would be hanged. Sadly we no longer live in a sane world.

  6. I remember talking to a guy who was in the service back in the 60's, went around the world several times. He recounted a conversation he had with a doctor at the time, also in the service. The doc stated, with shock in his voice, that they had a class in med school affectionately labelled historic diseases. Really weird and terrible shit that everyone was assured was obsolete, completely eradicated by modern medicine. Except that 5 minutes in the third world and holy hell there were all the diseases from that class, on open display. And the bitch of it was that we really weren't prepared to counter those diseases in the first world anymore – we thought they were gone and pretty much forgot how to treat them anymore. Yeah, that's what we're letting into our country. I'm in Texas and rumor is that most elementary schools are nervous as hell about some of the stuff they're seeing in the kids. Lice outbreaks are extremely common and other stuff is there too. Our youngest children are being exposed to shit daily. We don't hate our politicians enough. Tar and feathers aren't enough. Rope and lampposts and what's needed, but that's not for me to fed-poast.

  7. Anon–Of course–supply/demand… But in this case our tax dollars are paying for illegals while our citizens are forced out because they can't pay the increased prices.Steve–Definitely deport them. In this case though, the threat is real because illegals are bringing their diseases and other things like lice and scabies into our schools.Anon–It's always about control except in this case the threat is real.Avraham–And Africa and China, etc etc etcDan–There does need to be some kind of punishment for the folks that let the illegals in. Don–Yes, they are affecting the most vulnerable of our population because children have to go to school or be homeschooled.
