I’ve mentioned this before–the problem of Third World diseases coming into our country.
In Georgia, around 200 faculty, staff, and students at a high school had to be tested for TB. The disease vector was ‘an illegal Chinese student’ (please explain to me how someone walked from frickin’ China). Apparently it’s a pretty rare strain too.
They keep trying to say that TB is treatable, and some forms are. But there’s also some forms that are not–they are so antibiotic resistant that there’s nothing we’ve got that will kill that bug.
According to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 9,615 tuberculosis (TB) cases were reported in the United States in 2023. This represents a significant increase from previous years:
It’s a 16% increase from the 8,320 cases reported in 2022.
It’s the highest number of TB cases reported since 2013.
The TB incidence rate increased to 2.9 cases per 100,000 persons in 2023, up from 2.5 per 100,000 in 2022.
Finally, 76% of cases occurred in non-US-born residents.
There’s no health screenings of illegals. They’re just allowed to stroll in, get their EBT cards, and get on a plane to become some small municipality’s problem.
