SCOTUS clerks are lawyering up

It’s taken almost a month for the ‘investigation’ of the leak of a draft decision overturning Roe v Wade to get to the point where they are ‘asking’ clerks to turn over their personal cell phones.  The clerks are getting their own lawyers to ‘help them through’ this unprecedented cluster-fuck of unprofessional behavior.

Why this wasn’t done at the time the leak hit the public eye, I don’t know because whoever did it has had plenty of time to cover his or her tracks.

I would be looking at the person with a brand new cell phone, for sure.

  1. Look for journalists who bought a burner phone for a clerk.

  3. Democrats once again prove that they are the lowest forms of life on the planet.Releasing that draft is NOT and inconsequential action.EVERY BODY should be outraged and be demanding an immediate resolution to the “investigation.”This “investigation” should have lasted one day. Every member of SCOTUS should have called each of their staff into their office and asked them, “Did you do this thing?”We already know that the suspects are limited to just three of the clerking staff. As it is, this will be a typical deep state investigation in which TPB don't want an answer and will drag this out for several years until everyone forgets about it. (Remember there was a serious possibility that Milley alerted the ChiComs???? That kind of faded away.)

  5. MYOB–Good thought. I'm betting they bought them, but I do agree with Matthew that they would be too arrogant to use them. It's definitely an avenue for investigation though. NFO–Yep. Gave them a whole month head start to cover their tracks.Matthew–Agree. They should have done all the data collecting the day the draft was released. Whoever did it still had a head start, but seriously, they aren't that bright.
