 Governor Sports Metaphor (Holcomb of Indiana) vetoed a bill (he only vetoed two this whole session) that would keep biological boys out of girls’ sports.  He gave a whole litany of bullshit as ‘reasoning’ but I think the real reason he did so was because the NCAA, who allowed Will Thomas to swim in the NCAA tournament despite new rules from the Swimming Association, is based in Indianapolis.

I’m guessing a backroom chat was had and possibly a threat was made by NCAA about moving to other turf.
