So Florida has legislation that will prevent any classroom discussion of gender identity and sexual orientation for children up to third grade. And I think it’s a good thing. Kids should be kids. Parents should have a say in what’s being taught to their very young children and most don’t think that discussions of sexual orientation are appropriate for kids.
Well, the bill has been blown up by the media (of course) as anti-gay, which it is not.
Disney’s CEO spoke out opposing it and got an old fashioned owning by DeSantis.
So, if you’re a corporation who has made its bucks selling to young children, what do you do to prove that you’re not into child grooming? Put a same sex couple, complete with a kiss, into a movie that’s meant for young children.
Yep, they have to be saying ‘that’ll show those phobic rednecks for sure’.
I honestly don’t have any words to convey my disgust. Pretty sure the movie will fail and they’ll blame trans or homophobia.
