So the International Energy Agency has put out a list of things (mirroring covid lockdowns) that governments should force on their citizens in order to save energy in the middle of this created crisis. Some of you might remember some of these from the Jimmy Carter days.
They include:
“Reducing highway speed limits by about 6 miles per hour; more working from home; street changes to encourage walking and cycling; car-free Sundays in cities and restrictions on other days; cutting transit fares; policies that encourage more carpooling; cutting business air travel.”
So tell me which big cities don’t have HOV lanes and bicycle lanes and highly subsidized public transportation. Those that can are still working from home (something introduced during covid) and business air travel really hasn’t bounced back due to the working from home thing.
So now let’s add in some words for the peasants (anyone earning under $300,000/year) from Bloomberg (I’ve added my own commentary):
Budgeting. Peasants don’t know how to budget.
Public Transportation. Of course a lot of peasants don’t live where public transportation is available but screw them.
Lentils instead of meat. This is something Bill Gates has been pushing. The world needs to become vegetarian (but then to whom would the real vegetarians brag about being vegetarian?).
No need to buy in bulk. Of course we don’t want anyone prepared or stocked up so we can control them easier.
Checking your credit card for ‘unnecessary’ recurring charges. See budgeting.
Pet care. Pet chemo is expensive so it’s best to just let your beloved animal companions die.
Combine in Mayor Pete’s ‘let them buy electric cars’–of course not taking into account where/how electricity is created (where the hell is Nikolai Tesla when you need him?) then we have a whole lot of rich elites who have no idea about the world the rest of us live in.
The fact that this new manufactured crisis so clearly is using covid as a base is crystal clear.
