Borepatch was wondering about why Reid decided not to bring la Feinstein’s bill to the Senate floor. I think I might have the answer…
The UN Arms Treaty Dollar to dime the Dems are banking on this since it would make anything else moot– per NRA civilian weapons would not be excluded.
Time to make those calls again – don’t ratify that treaty, Senators.
Yeah, but why do they think that pulling DiFi's bill would make it more likely that the UN treaty would get ratified?

Smoke and mirrors. Also, they know that they can't win with DiFi's but ratification of a treaty is a whole other matter and it gets them to the same place.
