   I have to say that the childhood those kids had is exactly mine. My version of “no seat belts” was to sit on a box on the front seat of my parents’ Model A. No matter how old I became, in a sudden stop, my mother’s arm would come across to hold me back.

   All good! I really like Thomas Sowell, however I wish more right thinking AA’s would step into the light and take issue with the problems in the black community.
   The loudest voices in their communities are the LOUDMOUTHS like Crockett who have NOTHING constructive to say.

   Regarding the “progressive” (progress from what to what?) Christian priest, this is from the British TV show Not the None O’Clock News from 1980 …

   I think they more or less nailed it almost half a century ago
