To show how horrible these women are, they decided to leave all of their weights for the (probably) minimum wage workers to pick up and put away. Because that’s sticking it to the man or ICE or something.
This woman is a true twatwaffle.
She also spoke up on intentionally placing weights on the floor and said:
“I also, every single class that I take at CorePower for years, have taken the time clean up the weights and clean up things that anybody leaves messy, because I know that the said people don’t make a lot of money and I always want to be able to support people who have to clean up.”
Anderson added:
“One of the people in the class said to me, ‘You know what, we shouldn’t put our weights away today. We should let corporate clearing it up, since they’re here to see how everything is.’ And that’s exactly what we did.“
Heather recounted that they intentionally did not put the weights away on Sunday. She recounted her argument that happened later. Heather said:
“I cursed a couple of times. I was mad, I was frustrated.”
So despite the fact that she recognizes that the staff doesn’t get paid top dollar, she made extra work for them anyway.
Of course the studio caved. And of course it wasn’t enough because those women are going elsewhere anyway. They might as well close doors now because once you cave to the mob, their demands become unsustainable.
