Deranged and deluded or consumed by vanity?

B sent me a link to this article over at My Daily Kona. It is titled: “Confusion to Clarity” The machine that made them.

You should go read the whole thing then come back here. I’ll wait.

He finishes his post with this:

The comments I showed you at the top of this piece appeared under my posts about the attempted murder of the President of the United States. They appeared under real names. The people who wrote them did not consider it necessary to be anonymous, to be careful, or to soften their language. One of them has champagne chilling. One of them wants to know why the shooters cannot aim better.

That comfort, that openness, that complete absence of shame, is the story. Not the number of people who feel this way. Not the survey percentage. The fact that they do not think they need to hide it.

Someone built that. Someone told them that the targets of their feelings had forfeited the protections that ordinary human beings receive. Someone did it with credentials, with camera time, with Senate seats and years of sustained institutional repetition.

It’s one of the best posts I’ve read in a while. I do have something to add though–the other side of the equation. He looks at the outside influences, but I believe there is something more. Vanity. The people (mostly leftists) to whom he refers believe they are better, smarter, more worldly than anyone else. That’s why they feel free to spout the hate that they do.

The hotel shooter graduated from Cal Tech. I’d bet that most of the rest of them either have degrees from elite universities or are in personal situations where they are not accountable to others. They’ve been told their entire lives that they are better and that their wishes should supersede those of any others not in their small cliches.

That’s the other side of the rhetoric and it comes from them. Anyone who does not agree with them are stupid, misguided, or brainwashed. Otherwise they’d be in lockstep with the left’s ever-changing and preferred ideologies.

Combined with the dehumanization of anyone who does not agree with them per the press, organizations like the SPLC, etc., then they could do or celebrate what the rest of us would consider heinous acts and not lose a wink of sleep.

  1. This shows that some major universities go for indoctrination over education. Critical thinking is frowned on, the scientific method seems to be banished. It is at least 20 years old goal of these institutions.

Charlie Kirk tried to show young people to think about issues, not just feel about them. Killed by a zealot. Only same think is allowed.

  2. When the populace takes on the banana republic mindset of killing those we don’t agree with- we are already there. Reminds me of a quote from Johm Adams- “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

  3. If conservatives or the Right or MAGA followers are bad people; as the Left reminds us every day by calling us every vile name they can think of, including equating us to Hitler and the Nazi’s, how come no one has EVER taken a shot at Obama?

Before Obama came on the scene there was no ANTIFA, BLM, ISIS or any other far left hate groups here and around the world. Obama built all that shit and is pleased as punch that he did. Yet he’s STILL walking around free blaming Trump for his marriage problems while pontificating about far left causes and vilifying the Right every day, instead of staying on the sidelines keeping his pie hole shut, like most other past Presidents, and enjoying his retirement, .

Then there’s the next question: why is it that the Left, who are purported to wear halo’s, the ones that are causing violence in the streets, have attacked Trump three times and burnt down cities across the country during Trump’s first term, if they’re so damned innocent?
