The biggest sign she has brains?
She saw a massive niche: Hot model that appeals to right wingers and doesn’t bow to the wokeness.
And she seized it. And now she’s likely the most famous model in the US at least, right now. And likely the highest paid.
So while I don’t know her politics, if she’s got any left leaning ones, she is smart enough to shut up about it.
But I think she’s been spotted on a gun range, carrying at least three at all times… the one in her hands and two more, if you know what I mean….
Congrats to her for sticking to her guns and standing up to the woke cancel culture mob.

I was a bit slow to warm to the whole Sydney Sweeney juggernaut when it kicked off this past summer. It is not in my nature to simp, not to put much weight or trust in a celebrity’s viewpoints, especially a Hollywood “it girl”. While I haven’t done any deep dive research on her, what I’ve observed causally since then has been refreshing, and even impressed me a fair bit. Her work on classic cars and trucks to the range are a nice surprise considering what one would ordinarily expect from someone like her (by which I mean one in her line of work).
I still think it unhealthy for anyone to be involved in the tv and movie biz, and so it’s a kind of a shame she has pursued that as a career, to be immersed in the depravity and dysfunction it breeds. Then again, she appears to provide an all too rare counterpoint to the sort of people who typically work in that industry. And if she can keep her head on straight, maybe she escapes that cesspool without major damage, and a small fortune to show for it.
If nothing else it was nice to finally have a traditionally attractive white woman to single handedly tip over the manure wagon of DIE based casting of models and tv/movie roles with fat, ugly mystery meats that have been used to insult and offend us for so many years. The thermonuclear collective howling of the unfit and undesirable hambeasts was quite satisfying to behold, when her Jeans ads hit full force.

I was kinda hoping Sweeney was going to tell the interviewer to go eff herself because there was nothing to apologize for.
She’s apparently kinder than I would have been.
I’ve read that she’s been a registered Republican since she was old enough to register and she supports MAGA.
IMHO, she’s the modern day Marylin Monroe and, again from what I’ve read, is very well grounded, with a good conservative upbringing.
At the fairly young age of 28, she reportedly already has FU money, so could walk away any time she feels like it.
I haven’t watched any of her work, except for the AE commercials. If the rest is as good as those clips, she’ll do well for as long as she wants.
