An indictment for the ex-Des Moines Illegal Superintendent

Wow, yes. They actually indicted the miscreant.

On Thursday, illegal alien and former Des Moines School District Superintendent Ian Andre Roberts was indicated by a grand jury on two counts: The first was for false statements given to secure employment at the district; the second was for illegal possession of firearms pursuant to Title 18, United States Code, Section 922(g)(5).

And since this situation is the gift that continues to give me more blogfodder, get a load of this:

Detailed in the criminal complaint and not previously reported, next to the firearm found in the car were Roberts’ wallet and a current passport issued in Guyana, Roberts’ country of origin. The passport had been renewed in April 2024, and is valid until April 2029. This renewal date is a month before Roberts was supposed to appear in immigration court concerning his illegal status. Roberts’ failure to appear at this hearing in May 2024 expedited his removal from the country. In April 2025, an immigration judge rejected Roberts’ appeal to have his case reopened and upheld the order to remove him from the United States.

He also has charges for falsely claiming that he is a US citizen on his I9.

And the school district that hired him is ducking and covering as best they can by suing the company that supposedly vetted this guy for them. Their only option if they want to avoid accountability.

The board chair, former Big Mike Obama’s Chief of Staff, has also decided that maybe it’s best to lay low on her run for Senate and has suspended her campaign.

  1. It’s the grift that keeps on grieving. Is “Dr.” Roberts going to call his posse of fawning bitchez ‘n ho’s on the school board to testify on his behalf? As I recall, the ladies were fiercely defensive of their yarn-spinning dieversity super-hire…until they weren’t.

  2. I got a buck says he he gets a slap on the wrist and a pat on his backside and gets sent on his way, hopefully into the waiting arms of ICE and a plane back to Guyana.

It’s not just the fawning schools board bitches hoping to tear off a chunk. Go read the Wikipedia page on this guy.

  3. Again, as a Guyanan, his punishment (and he should damn sure be convicted) should be an IV drip of jonestown KoolAid.

  4. Harbinger–Yeah, those women saw the way the wind was blowing and threw everyone they could find under the bus.

Nemo–I’d just as soon that taxpayer dollars not be spent housing this guy. As far I I could tell, the wiki was spot on, but was not the usual glowing/ass covering we’d generally expect in these cases.

BRD–I imagine being back in Guyana will be punishment enough…
