The plural of “Moose” is “Meece”, I think.

  2. B–I thought meece was the plural of mouse… 😉 I noticed they avoided the goose/geese issue by just saying ‘birds’.

  4. The name of the coffee shop with the chalkboard outside warning of possible raptors looks like it reads ‘Meh’. I would totally patronize a coffee shop named ‘Meh’.

  6. I had forgotten about Jack Douglas. He was a comedy writer and Jesus his books were funny. Unfortunately it’s been so long since I last read him I can’t remember some of his other books.

  7. Nemo–I do try to curate the best of the best (or would that be the worst of the worst?). And I get some help as well.

Harbinger–I’d be there as well. Would love a place that didn’t take themselves seriously.

Gerry and Chris–Yeah, that one was a blast from the past. I’m going to have to find one of his books now and give it another read.

  10. A point to consider, the skeleton depicted as “Death” is actually a female skeleton. It has the extra short rib and it’s pelvis has the 90 degree subpubic arch. Just being pedantic. A nice eclectic set today!

Cederq–Do I need to make this a pedantry-free zone? 😉 Glad you like this bunch!

stlview–Have you never had to wait an hour for a flock of Canadian geese to waddle their feathered asses across a road?
