An unholy alliance–WEF and AFT

The American Federation of Teachers (with their Dear Leader, Randi Weingarten who, I will remind you, QUIT the DNC because it wasn’t Marxist/radical enough for her) is going to be partnering with the World Economic Forum on US educational ‘curricula’.

Weingarten, who worked with the Autopen Administration to keep schools closed during covid and whose organization has been working to undermine education for decades, said:

“And we are partnering with the World Economic Forum to create a curriculum that will lead to good jobs and solid careers in U.S. manufacturing.”

So this will give foreign powers who are at odds with the US more power over our government educational system since the AFT is, first and foremost, a lobbying unit on both the federal and local levels. Just like its counterpart, the National Education Association.

IMO, both the NEA and the AFT need to lose their non-profit status as well as their influence due to their partnerships with government. They’ve already damaged our children and seek to do more.

And color me skeptical, but the day that Randi Weingarten wants US children to be successful and for the US to be successful is the day that I’ll eat my left shoe.

  1. On top of that, abolish the Dept of Ed and eliminate the single point of control. Of course that was the entire point of Federal Bureaucracy, easier to control things from one place than 50 or more. Unconstitutional as hell but here we are.

    1. steves–And it was when the Dept of Education came into being that our children’s education started suffering. It gave the teacher’s unions one place to lobby rather than having to spread their money further.

  2. Do pumps have a unique flavor? No government employee should be allowed to unionize or have these type of umbrella organizations lobbying and suggesting and setting policy.

  3. I agree with Cederq. Even FDR realized that you shouldn’t allow government employees to unionize.

Anyone receiving money from the government (grants, paychecks, or contracts) should be barred from lobbying the government or contributing to political campaigns (in the form of money or labor). It creates an obvious conflict of interest.

  4. Our government is a lot like the mafia. If they know that there is money changing hands anywhere- they want a piece of the action.
