And the tantrums continue

Trans activists and their allies must be the most narcissistic people in the world. They want to force others to acknowledge their worldview and woe betide those who don’t. They don’t ascribe to the notion that their right to swing their fist ends at the tip of our noses–boundaries are unthinkable to them.

Go to JD’s place at youtube . He’s got a plethora of trans and liberal meltdowns. It drives them batshit crazy when someone calls them on their delusion and stands up for themselves or others. And the UK Supreme Court decision that says that men dressed as women are not legally women, no matter what their paperwork says has completely sent them over the edge, like the lemmings they are.

Of course these tantrums are not new.

You might remember this one from six years ago.

Ground zero for the issue is presently housed in women’s sports. Governors in Maine, California, and Illinois are fighting as hard for men to compete and take opportunities from women in sports as they are fighting for illegals over citizens.

Illinois’ governor is calling for mass protests, channeling his internal Maxine Waters.

“These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace,” he continued. “They have to understand that we will fight their cruelty with every megaphone and microphone that we have.”

“Those same do-nothing Democrats want to blame our losses on our defense of Black people, of trans kids, of immigrants, instead of their own lack of guts and gumption,” Pritzker said.

It’s just a hissy fit on a more political level. But this filters to other places, such as allowing male rapists into women’s prisons and men into locker rooms at gyms. They feel they have the ultimate ‘don’t go to jail’ card because, despite any appearance to the contrary, all they have to do is say they are women (even when they’re naked with their male parts exposed to young girls).

And they react like small children when confronted with their lewd behavior. And they are coddled by those who should be protecting women’s spaces. So the tantrums get more strident.

  1. There was a time when we had asylums for those who served notice on society that they were unfit to live amongst us pursuant to mental illness or defect. Mind… they were poorly funded, mismanaged and horror chambers in a lot of cases. This led to a massive “Human Rights” campaign that led caused them to be shut down.

All but those for the “Criminally” insane. Those who were nuts enough to commit heinous crimes I suppose…

We are seeing the results I’m afraid.”

I think it’s high time to re-institute the “Institution” but let’s do it properly.

  2. The Left STILL doesn’t get that this idiocy is one of the many reasons why they got trounced in the 2024 election. I’m content to lewt them keep doubling down on stupid because they won’t win another election until they wise up.

  3. *********. Used as a wedge to destroy civilisation. Exterminate the worst, mock the rest….or be exterminated, and mocked as they and their masters destroy you.

  4. boneman–Gender dysphoria used to be considered to be a mental illness and treated accordingly.

Nemo–One can hope that they can’t steal another election…

Stefan v–I don’t like the word you used since it’s now a pejorative. But yes, gay folks were used as a wedge by allowing the trans people on their bus.

  5. And to think, it all started with the statement that “We just want to get married”. Bullsh*t, the left knew full well what they were going to do.

  6. I used to give rides to hitchhikers (okay, I still do, but I don’t tell people about it).

Fred was the only hitchhiker that I gave a ride to more than once (4 times IIRC). Fred was in his 80s. When he was 6 or so, his step-dad beat the snot out of him and his mom. Being 6, the only thing he could do was run away from home. When the cops caught up to him, he told them he would just run away again — so they tossed him into a mental institution (because every 6 year old that doesn’t want the snot beat out of them must be nuts).

Anyway, time passed and on his 21st birthday, he announced he was 21 and they had to let him out. Well, turns out that the shrink in charge of the place was collecting money on Fred being there. Since all they had to do was feed him and give him a bed at night, they were making a nice profit off of him (note: they were not educating him) — and he didn’t cause them any trouble. Why would they want to let him out?

When Ronald Reagan closed the mental institutions, Fred was released. He was in his 50s, and had had no education. Of course he was homeless.

After he told me his story, I asked him what he thought of Ronald Reagan. Fred said, “Thank God for Ronald Reagan. Without Reagan, I would still be held.”

While I definitely see a need to lock the trans-lunatics away from polite society — and certainly keep them and their fellow travelers away from children — I would not want to go back to the days where there is a clear conflict of interest in housing people against their will indefinitely. If Pelosi had had that power, I’m sure the J6 defendants would have been shuffled off to asylums and been given frontal-lobotomies.

  8. The cure for all kinds of modern insanity I faith and reason. I am a fan of faith and reason -the formula of the Middle Ages but with a modern twist. While in the Middle Ages, reason meant Aristotle and faith meant the catholic church. But I think that even starting at 1350 A.D. with the plague and later with wars against protestants that the approach to faith has to be rethought. And Reason I think is not really exactly reading Aristotle, but I would include Plato Plotinus and Kant, Hegel; also John Locke and the founding papers of the USA, i.e. the Constitution, the Federalist Papers and the letter of the founding fathers.
