Apparently an FBI agent leaked the details of an upcoming raid to the Venezuelan gang that has taken over apartment complexes in Colorado and has bases in a bunch of other cities.
However much leaking information was de rigeur in the past, that shit don’t fly with the folks in charge now. Especially when it puts good people enforcing this country’s laws at more risk than they face in these actions anyway.
Homan says the leaker is likely in the FBI who tipped off the violent gang members.
“We think we identified that person under investigation.”
“They’ve opened up a criminal investigation and they have promised that not only is this person going to lose their job, they’ll lose their pension, they’re gonna go to jail.”
It’s about time. I really hope there’s follow-through on the consequences.
