The stupid, it burns…

Gov Abbott of Texas, who you may or may not know is in a wheelchair, just signed an order to get rid of DEI in the Texas state government.

Apparently such talking heads as Stephanie Ruhle from MSNBC, don’t know the D in DEI stands for Diversity and apparently thought it stands for Disability. Seriously.

Her comment (apparently since deleted) gave me an instant migraine…

Did he sign the order from a wheelchair-accessible building?

The ratio was quick. There’s more at the link above.

Jesus Christ there is something in the water at 30 Rock. It’s no wonder your network is being sold off for parts.

Holy crap. And how much is she paid? She doesn’t know the difference between the ADA and DEI?

MSNBC needs to join CNN on the dungheap of obscurity. Mentioned in books only as a propaganda machine in the early 21st century.

  3. I think they’re trying to sell this as a redefinition. Saw an old friend trying a similar tack on FB, that DEI included the disabled neighbor across the street. BS.

  4. Terry–She’s not very bright, but that describes most of the folks at MSNBC.

“Ratio” is often used to describe a post that generates more negative or critical responses compared to positive engagement. When a post is said to be “ratioed,” it means that the comments or replies are filled with criticism, disagreement, or negative feedback, creating an imbalance between the engagement metrics.

that–It’s quoted in the twitchy article, but I don’t have an X account so can’t find it directly.
