The WHO might just need that bake sale…

The World Health Organization Foundation has gone on X asking for donations. Their goal is $1 billion US. Their take so far, $23,000.

They’ve also put out the word that they’re doing hiring freezes and might just have to put cost efficiencies into place. <gasp> The horror of it all!

Apparently there are ‘voluntary’ and ‘assessed’ or non-voluntary contributions. Even if the US pays out our assessed contribution per the treaty, taxpayers are going to be saving $442 million.

Let’s face it, they screwed the pooch by believing China and following its lead on lockdowns and other things. They can’t be trusted and shouldn’t get a dime of our money.

If China wants to, they can step up, but I doubt they will.

Or they can have that bake sale and people might get something in exchange for their money….

  1. Rat Face Anthony Fauci made millions during his tenure as a public servant, maybe He will share some of his wealth with those in need.

  3. I wouldn’t trust anything out of a “bake sale” from them, probably stuff full of the clot injection and no idea what else… I say Trump needs to get that Trash truck out more often to take .gov and ngos agencies to the dump!

  4. Cederq, I was thinking trust gas station sushi more than their bake sale.

  5. I don’t see why we’re still on the hook for anything, or why we must pay our obligations thru to the end of the year. Look at it like a breach of contract and just stop payment now. Screw them. It’s not like the USA signed up for a year of cable. If we stop payment now, what the heck are they going do about it?

  6. CRC–Ha! He’s going to be too busy paying for his own security…

NFO–It’s delicious to watch. And other countries are thinking about following suit.

Cederq–Absolutely. Wouldn’t trust a thing from them and this does need to go further (I think it’s going to).

    steves6–Agree.

Don–Not much they can do. And with all payments like that on hold, they’re just going to have to suck it up. Hopefully forever.
