       And it is snowing here today!  2.5″ at least and still snowing.  A very rare treat for us!  I was in middle school the last time we had this much accumulation and it was less that day.

       GM MWC!  We took a walk last night around 9pm or so.  We put plastic bags over our shoes and taped them to our pants.  The blanketing of the snow made it bright outside and it was late!  The acoustics were amazing as it was all quiet except for an owl hooting.  Our voices seemed to bounce off of the other houses in the neighborhood.  I measured 8.5 to 9″ in several areas of the yard.  I told the girls to remember this as this is a once in a lifetime occurrence for our neck o’ the woods.  Crazy!  Amazing and beautiful.

    Patrick–Everything does get really quiet in the snow, doesn’t it?!? And you’re lucky because you can enjoy the moment, but it won’t last months!!
