Mayo Clinic does a 180 on hydroxychlorquine

 Three years too late.

Previously the Mayo Clinic claimed Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine were “malaria drugs authorized for emergency use by the FDA during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the FDA withdrew that authorization when data analysis showed that the drugs are not effective for treating COVID-19.”

But now Mayo says:

 “Hydroxychloroquine may be used to treat coronavirus (COVID-19) in certain hospitalized patients.”

This is kind of interesting and just proves that the FDA got into the business of prescribing medicine instead of approving it (for which they have now been totally slapped down).  Just like ivermectin.

    Sadly, Mayo drank the entire Koolaid pitcher in 2020. And are now woke as can be. Perhaps they've noticed a drop in esteem lately; one would hope so.It wasn't just the FDA that went off the reservation. Mayo did too. They were insane about masks- still are. They fired people for refusing the vaccine (OK, that was a bit more complex because of a preexisting policy, but this particular vax was a clear exception). They HONORED Fauci at a recent symposium. They suppress differing views.Mayo today is NOT the Mayo of 30 years ago, where good medicine and good science were created. Mayo today is a handmaiden of establishment medicine, DEI, and wokeness.If anything, this is an attempt to rewrite history. Don't buy it.
