The kids are now standing up for what's right

 We need more of this...

In Pennsylvania, hundreds of students walked out of class protesting the school board’s decision to allow boys and men into girls’ and women’s spaces.

Board members voted against the bathroom ban last Monday, sparking fury among some parents and students.

High schooler John Ott who organized the walkout told Fox News ‘(Female students) were upset. They didn’t want men in their bathroom.’

His mother Stephanie Ott added: ‘This is about protecting our children and our privacy and boys and girls. It’s simple biology.’

Meanwhile fellow student Victoria Rudolph also told the outlet: ‘There needs to be some changes. It’s just uncomfortable seeing 19-year-old men or 18-year-old men in the bathroom.’

Three hundred plus students walked out.  The administration is hiding behind a PA administrative law that expanded ‘gender’ to include ‘gender identification’.  How having someone use a bathroom in accordance with their plumbing (male and female bathrooms are set up differently), is discriminatory, I have no idea.

And as for the students who didn’t feel safe, then maybe they need to use a single stall room or the one in the teachers’ lounge, not the one used by the students who are in accordance with their plumbing.  Gonna be different, then you can’t expect the rest of the world to lose their privacy and rights.

  3. Never heard of girls insisting on using the boy’s bathroom. I wonder how many girls are identifying as boys and how they fare in bathrooms!

Matthew–Absolutely!Avraham–Unfortunately the policy stands, but at least the kids gave it a shot.Justin–It gives me hope for the future.Anon–I think it happens, but I've heard one story where it led to a bunch of bad (of course one point does not make it data, but I have a feeling incidents would be buried).Boneman–Kind of like how Chicago and a couple of other places infests Illinois and is destroying it.
