Flocking together??

 I’m sure you’ve all heard about the Oklahoma school district who hired a drag queen (who was arrested on child porn charges back in the day–note: charges were dropped because they couldn’t prove the subjects of the pictures were minors) to be a school principal.  

The new principal does still perform in drag at night and on weekends.

Apparently he has also hired another drag queen to work with kindergartners.

It’s pretty clear, per the above, that neither man is keeping their professional and private lives separate.  It is likely only a matter of time when one or the other shows up at school in their drag attire.

    But, Oklahoma?!?!?WTF??? I'd have expected something like this in Minneapolis or SF or NYC. But in Oklahoma??? The cancer has metastasized everywhere.

    Why would anyone Hire someone and put them in close contact with children? And now that everyone in the community knows, why are they not driving them out? And, yeah, Oklahoma?? Seriously? I went to Tecumseh high in 72. I doubt any of us even knew what a drag queen was. But if one showed up and went to Draggin and Queening, the reception would have surely been negative enough to make it never do that again.

    Jen and Justin–And to make it worse, this guy was allowed to continue teaching in the system for 20 years after his arrest. Being that it's education, I'm not surprised (and there might have been threats of lawsuits back in the day that allowed him to stay–I have no proof of that though). But the fact that he and his new hire are NOT keeping their private lives private is troubling and whoever allowed him into the position should be fired and the school board re-done from the ground up.

    Appropriate condolences for his untimely and tragic demise…..in an unfortunate accident while unblocking an industrial woodchipper with his feet. Who could have expected the thirty seven cans of discount lighter fluid he happened to have forgotten in his pockets to ignite at that most inconvenient moment, by an errant spark from his homebuilt three-phase rotorooter-derived bluetooth buttplug. Even sadder is the accidental drowning of the new employee in the entrails of his semi-roasted well-chipped amateur-buttplug inventing former employer. On the cusp of discovering new heights of brave gender expanding success, the oralogenitalic underpressure disabler almost worked. Mourners are requested to contribute donations to subversive and depraved organisations in lieu of flowers, tax-deductible.

    Why is this tolerated by the citizens? There is no good reason or rationale to legitimize this. None!

    There is ONLY ONE QUESTION TO BE ASKED – Why does ANY PARENT continue to willingly hand their child over to the criminal gulag of monopoly day prisons every morning? SERIOUSLY??? How many more stories, how many more scandals, how many more years of failure, etc must it take? Do you seriously think that it is only other teachers and other kid's schools? Is that how you will explain it to your child when they are inevitably the victim?

    I guess you don't understand what it means to be struggling to stay afloat and the School IS the daycare. You think they don't know how bad they need to get their kids out of the schools? The gut wrenching feeling of knowing the truth and not having the resources to Do something differently? Don't fall off of your horse. It's pretty high.

Da Dog–Agree.Anon 5:26pm–I understand your point, but some folks don't have a choice.Justin–I get your point and agree, but you're pretty close to a personal attack. Please rein in the urge. There's frustration all the way around on this issue. The schools shouldn't be that way and people are trapped.
