It's the little things that make me smile

Some idiots used concrete and epoxy resin to glue themselves to runways at two different airports in Germany, causing chaos for thousands of travelers.

But here’s why I smile–because stupid should hurt.  Because the moron EPOXIED himself to the runway.  Superglue on steroids if done properly.  It’s meant to create an inseparable bond between two objects.

From a guy in Germany:

I wonder if they brought a jet engine close enough if it would tear them off the pavement.  Like a big turbine woodchipper.

  1. LOL… what a dumbass. As someone who's worked with commercial epoxies in industrial applications, I know that large quantities of lacquer thinner applied directly could also help to break it down.It also is pretty rough on the skin.HEAT will also soften cured epoxy as well. VERY. HIGH. HEAT.But rest assured, any method would NOT be comfortable.I guess he thought he was being smart. It's amazing how not thinking things through… i.e. the CONSEQUENCES of your actions, can result in life's HARD LEARNED lessons.

  4. Why stop airport operations or any other transportation where these idiots do stupid stuff? Run a few over, maybe the others will rethink their stupidity.

  5. Boneman–I'm guessing that none of those idiots have ever suffered any kind of adverse consequences to their actions. Glad it finally happened.Gerry–Yes it should. They are morons that have deluded themselves into thinking they are either brave or that their actions will cause change.Don't mind me–If it does, maybe it would be an example to the others.Craig–I agree, but it wouldn't be fair to the pilots–kind of like the poor train operators in Japan who have kids jump in front of them. That would scar them.
