Peru has declared a new public health emergency due to an outbreak of Guillain-Barre syndrome. I do remember when Gov Holcomb of Indiana was being given a flu shot and was asked if he had a problem with Guillain-Barre syndrome or if he’d had it. The CDC says that it’s a ‘rare side effect’ of flu shots.
Thus, the CDC cautions against “vaccinating persons who are not at high risk for severe influenza complications and who are known to have experienced GBS within 6 weeks after a previous influenza vaccination.”
It makes sense that the covid shot would have this as a possible side effect as well.
“We report a 61-year-old man who developed Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) within four days of receiving the Moderna SARS-CoV-2 vaccine,” one of the studies published on the NIH website reads.
“Neurological side effects can occur following COVID-19 vaccines,” the study goes on.
“One of those side effects is the development of Guillain-Barre syndrome.”
“The temporal relationship between COVID-19 vaccination and GBS development, in this case, was suggestive of a vaccine-inducted cause.”
Peru is 84% fully covid-shotted. They’ve had 180 cases and 4 deaths so far.
