I was talking with a friend last night about language and PC censorship. Common usage like ‘bullet-points’ are now ‘triggering’ to some people. And then I found this article about Megyn Kelly who has learned that when our language is controlled, to an extent, our actions are as well.
“I was an early proponent of using preferred pronouns as far back as the early 2000s. Of saying ‘she’ when I knew the truth was ‘he.’ It seemed harmless, and I had no wish to cause offense. Trans people were tortured enough, it seemed to me, by nature of their dysphoria and society’s disdain for them in general. So I complied. I went along with it,” she said.
“I didn’t see the harm,” she said.
But because of this (and I will admit that I used to do the same), we have skied down the slippery slope to people at risk of getting fired for not using a person’s ‘preferred pronoun’. It was the camel’s nose under the tent that has ultimately led us to men in womanface singing about anal sex in front of children.
Women, real biological women, are being erased in favor of men dressed as women (or even men who don’t even make that much of an effort and just say they are women–beard and all).
I think it’s the next step in the destruction of our world. First, men and boys were attacked and marginalized. ‘Toxic masculinity’ was a phrase bandied about freely. Drugs were used on boys acting like boys in school. Then their sick and brainwashed mothers decided to turn them into girls.
But then girls are marginalized. Spaces, sports, beauty contests–all being won by sick men and those who support their illness rather than calling it like it is.
When the fundamental basis of our world-men and women, no longer exists, then how can civilization stand?
