Germany has shut down its last nuclear plant.
And due to the brouhaha in Ukraine, they can’t import oil and natural gas, or at least they can’t import enough.
So now energy prices in Germany have gone up 45%–almost half again of what it was.
I’m sure this is a feature and not a bug–easier to control people when they have no heat or power.
If I was a German citizen, I would hunt down the folks in charge and run them out of town on a rail. Plus a kick in the crotch for any greenie that crossed my path.
