I think the shop teacher is screwing around with the system and my comments are based on that assumption. (I saw something online about him getting hit sometime ago for “toxic masculinity” of some-such B.S. so he's pushing back with the breast thing). I don't know the labor laws in Canada, but would assume he might have grounds for a lawsuit over the suspension. From what I see these days, someone can self-identify (i.e. pretend to be) whatever they want, whenever they want and switch back and forth as desired. Why should his case be any different? He could “self-identify” to have enormous bazongas Monday through Friday school hours, be a normal guy when off work, then be a gerbil on the weekends.

I suspect the same, the shop teacher read Rules for Radicals and thought about it some. I can see the chance for a large payday in his future. OH derailment;They way this is suppose to work in the National Response Plan is this is East Palestine's job to manage. They can call in anyone to help or if the feel overwhelmed they can ask the state to take over. Likewise the state can call on the feds to do the same. The object was to stop the,” We're from the federal government here to help you!” issues. The framework is pretty ridgid so all the correct emails and phone calls need to be made. Katrina response was an example of not getting it right. IF the feds played politics, they should be hung out to dry.Mayor Pete's only part in the the incident is outside of the response. THe NTSB must investigate the accident once it's deemed safe to do so. Why he didn't get that message across is lost to me. The gentleman is clueless about his job.(See my shocked face).I spent 20 years teaching air monitoring and going on responses with folks in the EPA Emergency Response Team, US Coast Guard Strike Teams and FIT and TAT contractors as well as many state and local agencies. Trust me the last thing anyone on scene wants is big shots on site because all work stops for photo ops. Air monitoring for vinyl chloride is easy both real time as air sampling. BTW when you burn vinyl chloride what you get? CO + H20 + HCL.

As for Mayor Pete's computer–might come down the line because he's definitely become a third rail.Avraham–Yes!Gerry–Thanks for the information–I did think there were more daughter products from incomplete combustion, which is what happened in this case.
