Happy Winter Solstice!

Factoid:  Scientists say that the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere are actually getting longer by a few seconds each year.

 



  1. Earth's rotation slows approximately 2 to 3 MILLISECONDS per CENTURY.

  2. It’s in the -40’s, we had a grand total of 3 hours, 41 minutes & 32 seconds of daylight only because it was clear and it’s not getting any warmer till next year. I’ll take those few seconds, thanks very much…
