And they aren’t good for the Loudon County school district. I should think that the pink slips for all the administrators involved should be in the mail, but it being public school, don’t know…
To refresh your memories, a ‘transfluid’ boy anally raped a girl in the girl’s bathroom at a high school. He was allowed to use this bathroom because he was wearing a skirt. The administrators transferred him to another high school where he did the same thing. When the fathers of the raped girls got understandably upset, they were treated like criminals.
The grand jury found that that the LCPS administrators were “looking out for their own interests instead of the best interests of LCPS…. …They failed at every juncture.” School board members were deliberately left out of the loop about the rapes and had to find out about them through the press. The report also states that the second rape could have been avoided.
The full report is here.
It’s clear that the grand jury was trying to be fair and sensitive to the situation. They did also mention that part of the reason they were needed is because the ‘independent review’ performed by the LCPS was never released to the public.
