Midwest Chick's Place

 I was in a Zoom meeting the other day with some folks I hadn’t met before.  For myself, I, at the very least, put on a nice top and comb my hair even if I’m in sweatpants and keep the camera high enough to hide any cat that might jump in my lap.  

Since I’m remote, I figure it behooves me to look professional (as far as the people on the other side of the camera can tell).

I have never seen anything like I did that day.  A woman clearly at home, in a sweatshirt, hair uncombed, WALKING on a desk treadmill.  She didn’t stop during the meeting.  So I had to watch her head bob up and down because she was WALKING during the whole meeting.  

Okay, not the whole meeting because when she was asked a question, she would stop (apparently not much for the multi-tasking).

Not sure why someone would do that, but dang….
