He could have just asked me….

Bill Gates is trying to walk back pretty much all of the fear mongering he created during the covid years and is now trying to claim ignorance.

I dunno, but I think he’s got the wrong people on his panels of experts because those of us in the real world figured out that covid was going to hit the elder population the hardest and that putting sick people into nursing homes filled with the elder population was going to be like setting fire to a dry field.

Here’s a reminder from December 2020 of what Gates said.

And here’s a reminder of the propaganda machine and who was part of it (not all, just a sampling).

For HALF the kind of scratch I’m sure Gates is paying his Yes Men, I’d give him the truth so he doesn’t look like a fool later.

  1. RULE #1 The boss is never wrongRULE #2 If the boss is wrong, see rule #1Corporation heads want to hear why they are right, not how they might be wrong. When our little company was purchased, th VP of Big Defense Corp told us that we would be getting a contract who's requirements were basically DARPA vaporware. He was not impressed when I told him unless he had some hidden alien technology, the contract could not be fulfilled. I gave specific reasons why several other companies had either failed or walked away from the program. They went out and spent millions on an acquisition of a Silicon Valley startup that had promised they could deliver in 12 months.Five years later, still no product and the program was in default BTW I got laid off 6 months after I said it was not doable. The VP became president of the company and share prices dropped 20+%

  2. Gerry–Hate that you got caught in that crap. But I think they should hire someone whose job is to be the voice of reason. The past two years are proof of echo chamber badness.
