And he’s right and it’s more than the law.
No ethical tattooist will put a tattoo on a child because they understand that a child is not physically or mentally done growing. (They won’t tattoo anyone who is visibly drunk or high either.) It’s pretty simple.
I’m not going to say there’s no bottom feeder that will do it, but they are shunned in their community and generally don’t last very long.
Why aren’t ethical doctors doing the same thing to their ‘peers’ who destroy children’s bodies?

ETA–The perception of modern tattooing tends to be skewed. As an FYI–most tattooists are skilled in infection control and sterilization techniques in addition to being artists who had to go through a several year apprenticeship to actually work on a person. Kind of like a doctor, but with ethics and morals.
