 I don’t know anywhere in the world where comparing a group of people to food is a good thing.  Using the term ‘breakfast taco’ to denote the diversity of Hispanics is probably not the way to go.  Might as well compare Asians to eggrolls or Indians to curry.

Probably knowing how to pronounce the word ‘bodega’ (bow-DAY-gah, not BOW-di-gah) is important as well if you’re going to use it.

So either Jill or her speech writer (or both) have to be smoking something from this type of farce to be public.
