Across the board, it's agreed that feminism has done harm

The Southern Poverty Law Center (yes, I know they suck ass–see here for a smack-down by Andy Ngo) did a survey regarding feminism and its effect on society.

The survey was conducted by Tulchin Research between April 18-25, and surveyed 1,500 adults with a margin of error of 2.53%.

Thirty-seven percent of Americans overall said feminism has done more harm than good. In addition to young Republican and Democratic men, at least a plurality of younger Republican women and older Republican women also agreed.

Large swathes of young men also said that men “should be represented and valued more” by society. 60% of younger Democratic men agreed, along with 65% of young Republican men. A majority of Republican women and older Republican men also agreed. Just 4% of older Democratic men said so.

The SPLC, being the SPLC tried to tie this to “the progress made toward transgender rights and gender equality as potential threats”.  Of course they don’t realize that transgender rights are not feminism (they probably can’t define woman either).

Emblematic of the results of the survey are this

The feminization of our culture led by this academic dominance has fueled popular and pervasive messages of cruel and unrestrained female domination of men, rather than the loving cooperation with men that marriage and family encourage.

Gen X started this but the next generation took it to the next illogical level.

And  this (ht: B):

David Sabatini, 54, whose research involved unraveling how tumors develop, resigned from MIT last month and has been surviving on [un]employment after fellow scientist Kristin Knouse claimed he “groomed” and “coerced” her into a sexual relationship, according to a report and court papers.

Nothing like blaming someone else for you own actions and ruining him for spite.

Combine the mistakes that my generation (Gen X) perpetuated with a culture of victimhood that came along with the Millennials and you are also getting an entire generation of women who are abrogating any responsibility for their own actions.  And worse, they are alienating the men with whom they should be partnering and are reversing any good thing that came out of the feminist movement (which really isn’t much).

  1. So women (of all ages) cannot be let out without a keeper, as they apparently cannot make informed decisions on their own, even at 29 years old…..

  2. B-That's the corner they have painted themselves into. From something else I heard yesterday, I am starting to think you're right.
