 Nine flight attendants, who are the ‘front line’ of service and safety in commercial airplanes are suing the Biden administration over maintaining the mask mandates.  This is in contrast to the Flight Attendants Union, which lobbied the White House (and won) to keep the mandates longer against all good sense.  I’m guessing the union bosses aren’t flying.

One of the people in the lawsuit said:  ‘some flight attendants “just want to be a policeman.” She joked that they “chose the wrong career apparently.”‘

They rightly note that the mask mandate has created a hostile environment and that “Transportation employees have been weaponized by the federal government to enforce this unlawful mandate,”.

Several airline heads also wrote a letter to the White House asking that the mandates be removed.

The airline CEO’s cite increased friction on airplanes for having to enforce the mask mandate. The Federal Aviation Administration says since January 2021, there have been nearly 7,000 unruly passenger incidents reported with 70-percent of them involving mask rules.

Ten pilots have also filed suit to have the mask mandates ended.

I have a feeling that the only reason that these mandates are being extended is because they also extend to public transportation everywhere, including school buses.  Gotta keep those kids masked by hook or by crook, don’tcha know.  If masking stops on public transport then the proles might start believing in freedom again.
