Florida, a state which could be considered to be at the top of the list of true Red states and Washington, which could be considered to be at the top of the Blue state list actually agree on something.
Both states are advising against covid shots for kids.
Well, actually Florida is actively advising against covid shots for healthy kids, but a Washington state panel opted to not make covid shots mandatory for attending K-12 schools. Which in Washington state is a surprise.
One person on the Washington state panel actually referenced a lack of long term data for voting against the new requirement.
As a reminder, in New York state, they found that the vaxx for kids from 5-11 STARTED at 68% efficacy and waned to 12% in just thirty four days.
The New York State Department of Health found that the effectiveness of Pfizer’s vaccine against Covid infection plummeted from 68% to 12% for kids in that age group during the omicron surge from Dec. 13 through Jan 24. Protection against hospitalization dropped from 100% to 48% during the same period.
I’m hoping this data keeps getting published, despite the CDC and its ‘guidelines’.
