Now why'd they have to go and do that?

Hershey is firing unvaxxed employees.  More than that, it’s just the office workers–the line workers are encouraged to get the vaxx but haven’t had the hammer of doom fall upon them where it’s get it or get fired.

And according to the article, the employees trained their replacements who were not required to get the vaxx and are working remotely.

There is, of course, a long document to sign where the bottom line is that they won’t talk bad about Hershey or they will lose benefits or a payout  (seems to be a common tactic).

Oh well.  I like(d) some Hershey products and use(d) their special dark cocoa in my baking, but Valrhona and Tcho cocoas are definitely superior, albeit pricier.

  1. Last August, the office I work in went Vaxx only. I've been at another facility since then. Doubt the social justice asshole that runs our company would fire people for not getting the unproven experimental NOT-A-VACCINE that doesn't do what it was advertised to do, but you never know.

  3. Then, again, the local has been shelving a new brand, “Lilly's”. Pretty decent for routine fixings. Not for konoizers but I don't have to worry in that department. My taste buds are still about 10 years old.

  4. Matthew–the first biggest problem is that they are doing it. But truly more importantly, it's not consistent across all employees.NFO-Yep. Sucks.Mike-SMO–I'm definitely not a gourmet, but I do loves my chocolate. This might give some smaller companies a chance.
