Meat Loaf has passed at the age of 74. From Bat Out of Hell to Eddie in the Rocky Horror Picture Show to some really great supporting roles and guest appearances, Meat Loaf was an amazing singer and actor.
Bat Out of Hell was an anthem for my generation. Paradise by the Dashboard Light was a teenage cautionary tale, beautifully rendered and actually quite poignant and sad.
Bat Out of Hell ll-Back into Hell brought us I Will Do Anything for Love (but I Won’t Do That) is one of the songs for which I turn up the radio and sing along.
