Starbucks is dropping its vax mandate. I was originally going to say something about their wokeness, but they really do walk a good line and have taken heat for it–like when they told the progs to sod off and didn’t ban firearms in their stores. They’re taking heat again, but as someone astutely pointed out, they need workers. They aren’t going to get them by mandating a vax.
Carhartt, formerly an icon of hardworking folks everywhere, is keeping theirs with a nice little fuck-you to their workers. This is too bad since I have a lot of Carhartt stuff.
I’ve called Carhartt to register my complaint and will not ever buy another Carhartt item. And Starbucks hot chocolate isn’t bad, so maybe I’ll go get a cup.
