A commercial this morning for high end jammies and underwear really played to their audience (women). When showing their men’s underwear and talking about how comfortable they are, there was a very close closeup of the model’s ‘package’ area. The other men were all ripped and handsomely tousled. The women in the commercial were kind of an afterthought.
Of course they’ve been doing this for years. Mark Walhberg when he was just plain ol’ Marky Mark, David Beckham, Smilin’ Bob (whose product was recalled and the owner got a 25 year sentence), and now TommyJohn.
I don’t care what they say, sex sells. And it sells to women probably better than to men.
