It's not just UMICH–Flu cases are rising on a lot of campuses–Gee, Wonder Why?

As I posted below, the University of Michigan is having a relatively serious outbreak of the flu.  A lot of campuses are.  They are trying to look at everything but the obvious.

They are saying that the flu season was non-existent last year (without mentioning that the covid tests couldn’t differentiate between covid, the flu, or a cold you had twelve years ago) so that’s why they say we’re going to get hit harder this year.  I’m not an epidemiologist, but that doesn’t make sense.

They are saying that masking and social distancing worked (even though there is no evidence of that) but oops-most campuses are still masking and social distancing so I’m guessing that’s not helping this flu outbreak either.

Here’s a really interesting quote:

Some flu experts are worried that low exposure to last year’s flu virus may have weakened people’s immune systems, Schaffner said. As a result, the country could experience a more extreme flu season.

You know what they aren’t mentioning?  I know you do!  The fact that college campuses are highly, highly vaxxed. At the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus, 98% of students, 98% of faculty, and roughly 90% of all other staff are gene therapied up.

There is some supposition that the vaxxes actually damage the immune system.

It is most likely that the covid shots that they required the students to get before they came onto campus are ultimately the cause of this flu outbreak.

Personally I know of two fully vaxxed folks who work in academia who were out of work for weeks with the flu. One, a thirty year old man, still hasn’t fully recovered or got it again and is out.  The second one was out for almost a month.

All that said, universities are now going to require students to now get the flu shot too.  Even though it doesn’t work.  Even though there are absolutely no studies that look at the interaction of these shots.  Even though they caused the problem by forcing these injections on their students.

But they are going to continue parroting the party line.  Academe is good at that.
