When asked about how the CDC is testing for the Delta variant (how are they coming up with these numbers), the Psaki substitute’s only answer is ‘because the experts say so’ and ‘because Dr Walensky has never seen such a contagious variant in 20 years’.
Clearly this woman, as well as Psaki, are WAY over their heads and are used to softball questions. Between Newsmax and Fox’s Doucy, I bet they go home with migraines every night.

The short answer is that there is no test that can identify the Delta variant. Or the Alpha or anything else.
The tests that they were using, they have even come out and said that they don’t work. They’ve pulled another off of the shelves.
They keep talking about rising cases while continuing to use tests that they have said don’t work.
Let’s not forget that the all-so-scary Delta variant has the same symptoms as allergies or a cold.
