 In 2014, a second grade girl in Texas had her Bible confiscated by a teacher.

In 2021 a second grade girl in Illinois had her Bible confiscated by a teacher.

In the first article, the student wasn’t named, but the school and the district were.

In the second article, the student’s first name was given, but the school and district weren’t.

I may be wrong, and I certainly hope I am, but I’m calling bullshit on the second story.  I haven’t been able to verify it to any other source.
