Rolling to Remember (formerly Rolling Thunder) is riding today despite the twatwaffles at the Pentagon who denied them use of a parking lot for staging (and waited until the last minute to do it maybe hoping to kibosh the whole thing). Surprisingly, the mayor of DC allowed AMVETS to rent the parking lot at RFK Stadium, which is five miles away. After over thirty years, this should have been a pro-forma approval by the Pentagon.
Despite, or maybe because of, the Pentagon’s actions, they are expecting 100,000 motorcyclists from around the country to attend and ride.
