Totally set up and fake but good points nonetheless

Some good points if someone asks you if you are vaccinated.  It does help to understand that HIPAA is still a law and that medical information, including vaccination status, is still medical information, no matter how hard they are trying to make an exception for this.

They wouldn’t make an exception for HIV or other diseases.

ETA:  Dan in the comments is right and HIPAA isn’t a thing for this type of questioning.  However, I do think that privacy is codified SOMEWHERE (4th Amendment?)

  3. HIPAA is a law that ONLY applies to people and organizations with access to confidential health information. It in NO WAY makes it illegal for a private party or business to ask about a person's vaccine status or make proof of vaccination a requirement for service. There may be other laws that would prevent this but HIPAA does NOT.
