If you guys want to do something special for your lady for Valentine’s Day (or really just any day since you shouldn’t have to wait for a mandated holiday to do something special (and this goes both ways, thank-you-very-much). But this is something that Himself made for me this morning as a special treat (although at least one weekend morning is a breakfast treat all the time). It was tailored to my tastes because although men like strawberries and chocolate, that’s not going to make a special Valentine’s day for them (naked or with a naughty/nice little something, eau de bacon perfume and beer will make a guy’s day). In any case, I present to you breakfast as it was served to me this morning. I am even including a recipe in case you want to emulate him. Ladies, if your man does this for you, proper thank yous are in order.
Chocolate Waffle Recipe:
2 cups Bisquick
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
5 tbsp Ghiradelli Sweet baking cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cups milk
Let mix sit 10-15 minutes until it bubbles then cook
Garnish with strawberries, whipped cream (can also be used later), and chocolate sauce (ditto)
