So, the midterms are over. Some comments.

No real surprises.

Can’t say I’m sad to see John Thune booted out of his position as Senate leader because his (in)actions pretty much led to a lot of voter dissatisfaction with our present Congress.

Did hear that one Republican in NJ got replaced with a Dem, but considering he hadn’t shown up to work for several months, no big loss there (missed over 140 votes).

Susan Collins? Now Maine has a Democrat who calls themselves one.

The Californians who moved to Texas are now, apparently, the majority and are turning Texas into the shithole they left.

The Republicans did what they always do when they have a majority, they fucking blew it.

A gridlocked Congress is a good Congress. Checks and balances and all of that.

And, at the very least, those fucking calls and texts and mailers will stop for a year or so.

One thing I’d love to see is for politicians having to follow the Do Not Call list from which they so conveniently exempted themselves.

  1. The long march to a communist utopia continues…

  2. We are well and truly fucked.

As to Thune, he’ll probably be the Minority Leader so no change there. He’ll still be an obstructionist except when it comes to supporting Demonrat bills.

What really surprised me is the communist mudslime in MI. I didn’t think he had a snow ball’s chance. I guess Michagin voters aren’t really all that smart.

So, now we have a mudslime spy in the Senate who will be feeding all kinds of secrets to Iran and the rest of the mudslime brotherhood.

  3. Gov. Abbott actually thought they’d be appreciative?

And yes, I know it wasn’t just them.
