Truthfully, IMO, the SuperBowl half time shows have completely sucked since 2019. Not coincidentally, that’s when the NFL gave Mr. Beyonce aka JayZ’s company, Roc Nation, control over the content.

- 2025: Kendrick Lamar
- 2024: Usher with Ludacris, Lil Jon, Jermaine Dupri, will.i.am, Alicia Keys, & H.E.R
- 2023: Rihanna
- 2022: Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg & Mary J. Blige
- 2021: The Weeknd
- 2020: Shakira and Jennifer Lopez
- 2019: Maroon 5
Shakira was great, but JLo sucked. Aside from that show, can’t think of one that I liked and a few that we turned the channel on.
The Halftime show is now a big ol’ homage to JayZ’s friends who need money or exposure.
And now he’s paying himself to perform …
