You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here…

Usually we hear something similar to that at a bar at closing time, but some illegals are hearing it as well. They are being deported to countries with which the US has agreements. Either their countries won’t take them back (gosh you would think they’d want all of those scientists and doctors back, wouldn’t you?), or they have indicated that they won’t go back.

Well, they can’t stay here anymore. So they are going to places like Liberia or Equatorial New Guinea. IMO, the further the better.

The press is, of course, trying to gin up sympathy for these deportees. How they don’t know the culture or language.

Immigration lawyers, you know, the ones who make bank from illegals all day long are saying that this is a way to get them to go back, eventually, to their home countries. Like it’s a bad thing?

Well, here’s the long and short of it. They came here not knowing the culture or the language and, in many case, never bothered to learn either. They made their bed, they can lie in it. Somewhere else.
