Happy Independence Day

No meme drop today!

I was around for the Bicentennial and, here we are, 50 years later.

The world has changed in the last 50 years. Liberals and the press, but I repeat myself, have been denigrating our great country for most of that time.

But today, none of that matters. Because we are in the greatest country in the world.

Visitors for the World Cup are finding out how great we really are.

It’s more than the food, although their reactions to things like sausage gravy and ranch dressing are hilarious. It’s the culture of Americans. They are seeing us without the distorted lens of the liberal media.

If they thought that what they’ve seen was great before, wait until they get a look at the parades and the fireworks celebrating the creation of the United States of America.

Remember those who pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to create this great country.

  1. I also recall the Bicentennial. I was a Senior in H.S. at the time. It was a different country for sure.

We’re still the USA though. Thank God for that. Let’s hope we can reverse the trends and restore “Sanity”!

    Happy Independence Day!

  5. My very liberal niece married a very liberal guy. One day I was talking to him and he was completely pro-Trump. She commented they wanted to move to a more conservative area. I asked what happened. Turns out he watched a Trump speech live, and then listened to the media lie about it.

The great thing about FIFA and the Europeans being here is that they realize their media and their governments have been lying to them. That’s the first major step towards redemption.

    Have a great fourth.

Best friend, drunk as a skunk, bounced a firecracker off a police car by mistake. Officer just shook his head and drove on.

Thank you again Sgt. Aversano. Friends hangover the next day was punishment enough.

The ranch dressing thing. I hosted an Italian exchange student for nearly a full year. Two years after she returned home, she came back to visit.

As we drove to the airport at the end of the two weeks, she remarked about not being able to get Ranch Dressing in Italy. So, I stopped at a local grocery store and I purchased their entire stock of Ranch Dressing mix packets as a gift.

The funniest part was that the store was in a ghetto part of town (Houston, TX). If eyes could have killed, we would have been two dead honkies.
